The Devold® Nordsjø sweater is made of 100% pure Norwegian wool. The characteristic chevron knitting pattern makes this sweater an original Norwegian sweater, recognizable worldwide in many variations. The sweater has a round neck and is knitted from sturdy wool, in a two-tone jacquard. The neck, hem and cuffs are rib knitted. A cool addition to your collection!

Washing instruction
Wool is a great material for making clothes because it is antibacterial and odor resistant. Woolen clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Occasionally hang the garment outside to freshen up. If you still want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent . When hand washing, never rub hard to avoid felting. Always check the label in the garment for the washing instructions. Always let woolen clothes dry flat.
If you treat your wool garment in this way, it will not only stay nicer and last longer. You also save the environment by airing instead of washing.

These sweaters were originally made for fishermen and other workers in the harsh climate along the Norwegian coast. Nowadays the Devold sweaters are very popular and perfect to wear in cold weather. To get soft and well-fitting clothes, the sweaters are pre-washed.
