Giesswein gives wool a new meaning

Giesswein is a family business from Austria and is run by the third generation: Markus and Johannes Giesswein, who have been familiar with woolen products all their lives. Their mission is to reinvent the properties of wool and develop unique products. The wool used for this is of high quality. The processing of wool takes a lot of time and is a complex process, but the result is a very functional product. New production methods are continuously sought for even softer and better quality. In addition, a lot of attention is paid to sustainability, with economical production methods in particular. The goal is: 0% residual material, up to 90% recycled water in production and 100% use of renewable sources.

Material Giesswein slippers

The Giesswein slippers are made of boiled wool. The natural properties of wool ensure perfect temperature regulation. Your feet stay warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer. In addition, wool is antibacterial and dirt-repellent. The footbed is also removable. Ideal for people who have arch supports. You can wash the Giesswein slippers in the washing machine (cold water, 30 degrees, on a wool wash program with wool detergent) if you remove the insole. Then let them air dry (not in the dryer).

Giesswein slippers

Giesswein slippers come in two different models, a slip-on and a closed model. Both slippers have a removable footbed that is preformed. The solid rubber sole gives a lot of stability while walking and makes the slippers suitable for going outside for a while. The Giesswein Veitsch slip-on slipper is an entry-level model without a closed heel. The Giesswein Vent is a closed slipper that you can tighten or loosen with a stopper.
