Care tip

To preserve your sheepskin slippers, we recommend spraying them with a protective spray (not a mousse) before the first use - and regularly thereafter. This protects the product from water and dirt. We recommend the Collonil Active Universal protector for this purpose. Please note: sheepskin products cannot be washed!

What is the Stella sheepskin boot made of?

Only the best materials are used in the production of our sheepskin slippers. Sheepskin is very suitable because it regulates moisture, breathes and retains heat well. You can even wear the boots without socks so that the lanolin (wool fat) in the wool can do its job, resulting in wonderfully soft feet.

Size advice

Choosing the right size sheepskin slippers requires
the necessary attention. There are two reasons for this:

1. Creating a layer of air. Wool has unique properties,
but they only come into their own when there is enough air between the coat and the
skin. This allows any perspiration to escape and
maintain warm and dry feet at the same time.

2. Suppleness of sheep leather. In contrast to cow leather, sheep leather is
to cow leather a lot more supple and softer. This also makes the material more fragile.
A foot in a slipper that is too small creates pressure points that can cause premature
wear and tear.

To wear the right slippers, we recommend ordering this model two sizes larger than your own shoe size. Because of the sheepskin and slanted toe, the slippers come out smaller. Do you have half a shoe size? Then round it up and follow the size recommendation. Example: you have shoe size 38,5. Round this
round up to size 39. Follow the size recommendation +2, you will order the slipper in size
41.

Is the size wrong? Then you can return the slippers and exchange them for another size.

Origin

Since Texelana has no production capacity on Texel, all our sheepskin products are made by small-scale sewing workshops in Europe. Of course according to EU guidelines.
