Warm wool sweater with zipper.
This Devold® Nansen sweater is made of 100% pure Norwegian wool. A cool, warm sweater with a high collar with a zipper. The zipper has a chin guard that prevents chafing by the zipper. The cuffs and hem are rib knitted. A wonderful sweater during a cool summer evening or for a walk in the fresh air.
The Devold® Nansen Sweater is a fundamental part of Devold's history, named after the famous Norwegian explorer, Fridtjof Nansen, who completed the first crossing of Greenland in 1888, wearing Devold clothing.

Washing instruction
Wool is a great material for making clothes because it is antibacterial and odor resistant. Woolen clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Occasionally hang the garment outside to freshen up. If you still want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent . When hand washing, never rub hard to avoid felting. Always check the label in the garment for the washing instructions. Always let woolen clothes dry flat.
If you treat your wool garment in this way, it will not only stay nicer and last longer. You also save the environment by airing instead of washing.

These sweaters were originally made for fishermen and other workers in the harsh climate along the Norwegian coast. Nowadays the Devold sweaters are very popular and perfect to wear in cold weather. To get soft and well-fitting clothes, the sweaters are pre-washed.
