Soft women's cardigan made of felted wool.
Brodal Long is a cardigan in a slightly longer model with a classic cut and stylish design. Due to its length, this vest provides a lot of warmth on the back. Because the vest is slightly longer, we have provided it with a divisible two-way zipper so that you can also open the vest from the bottom.
The model has slanted side pockets. It is knitted from pure wool, a material that regulates moisture and heat and helps maintain an even body temperature. There is a small Swedish flag at the bottom on the left side.
The fit is quite loose; if you are between sizes, take the smaller one.
- Material: 100% felted wool (approx. 450gr/m²)

- Lining: unlined
- Detail: embroidered Ivanhoe logo on left sleeve.
- Washing advice: wool wash program max. 30°C or gentle hand wash. Then let it dry flat.

Washing instructions
Wool is a great material for making clothes because it is antibacterial and odor resistant. Woolen clothing therefore does not need to be washed often. Hang the garment outside occasionally to freshen it up. If you still want to wash the garment, we recommend Texelana Wool Detergent . Never rub hard when washing by hand to prevent felting. Always look at the label in the garment for washing instructions. Always let woolen clothing lie flat to dry.
Treating your woolen garment in this way will not only make it more beautiful and last longer. By airing instead of washing you also save the environment.
Store woolen clothes
We recommend that you store your woolen clothing clean, possibly with a bag of lavender; this keeps the moths at bay. It is also best to store woolen clothing lying down, so that the elasticity of the wool is not affected.
Pills and fluff
Wool can pill or pill due to use. This has nothing to do with the quality of the wool. Pilling is a natural phenomenon that is mainly caused by friction. Wool consists of many hairs with a natural frizz (curl). Friction can cause the wool to pill and felt. When felting, the hairs join together due to friction. In fact, every movement causes friction. You often find the lint/pills on the sleeves and under the armpits.
New clothing may sometimes have some loose hairs left behind after the weaving and knitting process.
Unfortunately, pills and lint on your beautiful (merino) woolen clothing cannot be prevented. We have some tips on how to delay this process somewhat and how to remove the lint and pills. For this information we refer to our blog.
